This winter seasonal operator position supports Ledcor Highways Ltd. maintenance operations across Ontario. You will operate snowplows, wheel loaders, and other heavy equipment while assisting with labourer duties. The work helps maintain Ontario Provincial Highways year-round, including pothole and guardrail repairs, bridge and signage cleaning, and hazard remediation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate snowplows, wheel loaders, and other heavy equipment
- Maintain Ontario Provincial Highways throughout the year
- Assist with pothole and guardrail repairs
- Clean bridges and highway signage
- Work outside in all weather conditions
Requirements:
- Valid AZ or DZ licence with air endorsement
- Provide a three-year commercial driver’s abstract
- Perform physically demanding tasks regularly
- Lift 50 pounds through regular work activities
- Snowplow truck or wheel loader experience is an asset
