Provide person-centred nursing care as a casual Licensed Practical Nurse at Copper Sky Seniors Community in Spruce Grove. Apply clinical judgment and nursing knowledge overnight.
This part time night position reports to the Resident Care Manager and supports Residents within Park Place’s care standards. The LPN uses assessment, planning, implementation, documentation, and evaluation skills while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. Care includes medications, nursing procedures, communication, and electronic health records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess Residents and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and monitor effectiveness
- Perform nursing procedures and document clinical information
- Communicate care information while respecting confidentiality
- Supervise staff and coordinate work assignments
Requirements:
- Graduate from a recognized Licensed Practical Nurse program
- At least one year of recent related experience
- Maintain active provincial registration
- Hold First Aid certification as required
- Communicate fluently in English verbally and in writing
