The Government of Nunavut Custodian maintains a secure, comfortable, and sanitary school. This work supports student success and a pleasant workplace for staff. Responsibilities include preparing occupancy, securing the building, cleaning, safety, supplies, basic maintenance, building operation, and summer duties.

Main responsibilities:

- Ready the school building for occupancy each day
- Secure the building at the end of each day
- Maintain clean and safe conditions daily and weekly
- Assist with supplies and basic building maintenance
- Support protected and secure school operations

Requirements:

- Grade 6 education or equivalent life experience
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check required
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Check required
- Eligibility restricted to all Nunavut Inuit
- Knowledge of Inuit communities and culture considered an asset
