Ledcor seeks skilled Journeyperson or Apprentice Linespersons for its Utilities team in Ontario. The work includes powerline construction, troubleshooting, equipment operation, and construction-document interpretation. You will support protected installation and maintenance while developing trade expertise or applying existing experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Construct and maintain overhead and underground distribution systems
- Operate bucket trucks, trenchers, and digger derrick trucks
- Troubleshoot and repair distribution powerlines
- Read construction drawings, work plans, and schematics
- Promote safety practices and support apprentices
Requirements:
- Journeyperson certification or apprenticeship enrollment
- One to three years of powerline construction experience
- Ability to climb poles and work from bucket trucks
- Class 5 license; Class 1 or 3 preferred
- Ability to travel across Ontario and work outdoors
