Support patient-focused care as a Food Service Worker with Alberta Health Services at Dr. Cooke Extended Care Centre. Prepare and serve meals across wide-ranging shifts.

As a Food Service I, you will perform routine food preparation tasks within Patient Food Services. Your work supports nutritious, healthy, high-quality meal service for patients, residents, staff, visitors, and the community. Duties follow established standards, procedures, guidelines, and menus.

Key Responsibilities:

- Package and portion food items according to established procedures
- Prepare food according to set guidelines and menus
- Serve meals to patients and customers
- Clean and sanitize equipment, dishes, tables, and serving areas

Requirements:

- Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent
- Ability to lift food, supplies, and equipment up to 46 pounds
- Ability to push and pull meal carts up to 250 pounds
- Ability to walk and stand throughout the shift
- Customer service or food service experience preferred
