Support cardiac catheterization procedures as a Casual Cardiovascular Technologist at Surrey Memorial Hospital in Surrey, B.C., with ECG monitoring expertise.
Fraser Health is hiring for its Cath Lab team at one of British Columbia’s biggest hospitals. This Cardiovascular Technologist role involves monitoring patient ECG and hemodynamics during invasive and specialized procedures. You will analyze findings, communicate with the Cardiologist, produce standard reports, and support equipment readiness. Experience in interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, or a cath lab is identified as relevant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather patient history from Meditech, MUSE, and HeartIS
- Enter orders and prepare information for patient charts
- Analyze ejection fraction, coronary disease,
resistances, and valve measurements
- Maintain records for the Provincial Cardiac Registry
- Prepare related paperwork for STEMI cases
Requirements:
- Diploma in Cardiovascular Technology
- Two years’ recent related experience or equivalent education and training
- Eligible for CACPT or CCI RCIS registration
- Ability to operate related equipment effectively
- Ability to organize work and communicate effectively
