As Electrical Department Manager, you will represent Kitchener/London within AECOM’s national electrical practice. The work spans medium-voltage and low-voltage distribution, lighting, life safety, communications, controls, and related systems. You will coordinate local, regional, national, and global teams while supporting sustainable, energy-efficient solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set direction for staffing, workloads, quality, and capability
- Lead electrical design delivery across diverse market sectors
- Oversee power, lighting, life safety, and control systems
- Collaborate with office managers across the national practice
- Licensed Professional Engineer with Skilled Engineers Ontario
- Electrical design and delivery experience in consulting environments
- Eight relevant years with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Technical expertise in medium-voltage and low-voltage systems
- Ability to lead effectively within a matrixed organization
