Prepare nourishing meals at Chartwell as a Prep Cook, using food preparation and safety skills to support residents’ dining experiences. This role supports kitchen operations.

As a Prep Cook, you will help prepare meals meeting residents’ dietary needs. You will wash, chop, and prepare meats, vegetables, and salads. The work includes cleanliness, food storage, temperature checks, and special event preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook meals for residents’ dietary needs
- Wash, chop, and prepare meats, vegetables, and salads
- Clean and organize dishes, surfaces, and kitchen areas
- Support special event food preparation for Chartwell
- Receive supplies and complete daily temperature checks

Requirements:

- One to two years’ volume food preparation experience
- High school graduation or equivalent education
- Food Secure Level 1 certificate; Level 2 preferred
- Strong organization and ability to work under time constraints
- Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays
