Drive local deliveries for Manitoulin Transport using a Class 5 license, freight handling skills, and careful safety practices. Work Monday to Friday, starting at 3:00 AM.
As a Class 5 local delivery and pick-up driver, you will complete body job deliveries and pick-ups in the area. Your duties include unloading trailers, staging freight, loading your truck, documenting shipment discrepancies, and completing inspections. You will also cube and weigh freight as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Unload inbound trailers and stage freight
- Load trucks for local P&D; runs
- Document overages, shortages, and damages
- Complete truck pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Deliver and pick up local body job freight
Requirements:
- Minimum Class 5 driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Reliable, hardworking approach to assigned duties
- Ability to meet delivery deadlines
- Positive attitude and robust safety awareness
