Support CityView software, permit applications, and development data as a Senior Permit Clerk at City Hall in Belleville, Ontario. This permanent full time position works Monday to Friday.

Reporting to the Chief Building Official, you will support Engineering and Development Services through software administration, data interpretation, reporting, and applicant assistance. The work includes CityView configuration, Development Tracker maintenance, permit review support, and compliance guidance under applicable legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide CityView support across Building, Planning, Approvals, and Bylaw Enforcement
- Maintain Development Tracker and validate housing supply data
- Prepare reports for departments, City Council, and stakeholders
- Calculate Development Charges and invoice property owners




- Review small-project plans and issue compliant permits

Requirements:

- Three-year Architectural, Civil, or Construction Technologist college diploma
- House qualification under Ontario Building Code Division C
- Building Code Identification Number and General Legal Process Examination
- At least 18 months using permitting or community development software
- One year of related construction industry experience
