At Toromont Cat, the Technical Training Instructor identifies requirements, develops courses, and presents seminars for Cat machine products. The role supports internal and external customers while preparing technical support staff for protected, efficient, professional repairs. It includes maintaining current product knowledge, coordinating schedules, and communicating with service and sales personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify training requirements for customers and technicians
- Develop, schedule, and present Cat machine product courses
- Maintain training classrooms, bays, tools, and equipment
- Prepare evaluations, reports,



and technician development feedback
- Communicate with instructors, supervisors, sales personnel, and customers

Requirements:

- College diploma in Heavy Equipment, Truck and Coach, or equivalent
- Provincial Heavy Equipment Certification or mechanics license
- Five years diagnosing and repairing Caterpillar equipment
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Microsoft Office and Caterpillar Service Software skills
