Ledcor seeks operators to help maintain Alberta Provincial Highways from October 1st through April 30th. The work includes winter maintenance, labourer duties, and outdoor work in all weather conditions. Potential for year round employment is available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate snowplow trucks, wheel loaders, and heavy equipment
- Maintain Alberta Provincial Highways throughout winter operations
- Assist with crack sealing and pothole repair
- Clean bridges and signage while remediating hazards
- Work outdoors during all weather conditions
Requirements:
- Hold a valid Class 1, 2, or 3 licence with air endorsement
- Provide a explicit three year driver’s abstract
- Complete pre employment drug and alcohol testing successfully
- Perform physically demanding tasks, lifting up to 50 pounds
- Snowplow or wheel loader experience is an asset
