Job Summary: We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Workers to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing support and supervision to residents in a residential setting. Your primary focus will be to ensure a safe, nurturing environment while promoting independence and personal growth among individual residents. This position is ideal for people who are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of others. Responsibilities with the individuals:
· As a team member, handle daily activities of individuals, ensuring their safety and well-being.
· Assist individuals with personal care tasks, including grooming, bathing, and medication management.
· As a team member help, facilitate recreational and social activities that promote engagement and community involvement.
· Maintain accurate records of resident progress and incidents as required.
· Collaborate with team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.




· Provide emotional support and encouragement to residents, fostering a positive living workplace.
· Address any behavioral issues or conflicts among residents in a constructive manner.
· As a team member help, ensure compliance with all safety regulations and organizational policies.
- Independently work with towards achieving the goals set out in their individual plan; encouraging them during setbacks and celebrating successes with them.
- Support and supervise complex behavioural, emotional and social needs, and development in the residence & during community activities.
- Use de-escalation techniques to deal with challenging behaviours.
- Assist client in developing life skills within the home including household chores (meal prep, cleaning, etc.) in a consistent, healthy & safe environment and their community.
- Model healthy relationships and setting boundaries
- Drive person in care (in your own or company vehicle), accompany to appointments and supervise/participate with the client in recreational and community activities. The Position
- We are currently hiring full time and permanent part-time capacity for residential community support worker positions.
- Shifts range from 7am – 3pm; 3pm – 11pm and 11pm – 7am. Skills Required: Practical caregiving skills, patience, transparent communication, and the ability to follow care plans while supporting daily activities and safe movement. Must know how to cook. Preferred: Experience in disability support, home care, assisted living, nursing homes, or hospice care; familiarity with meal preparation, cleaning, CPI training, First Aid, CPR and Food Safe and medication administration is valuable.
