Remedy Electric is currently seeking 3rd, 4th apprentices, Journeyman or Journeywoman Electrician to join our Service and Construction team This current opening is for worksites in Residential, Commercial and Industrial settings in Prince George and northern BC communities The successful applicant would report to our Prince George location. Availability to work on out of town projects is required.
- Regular work schedule is Monday to Friday with occasional afterhours or weekend work to accommodate job schedules. Afterhour call outs and occasional out of town work are to be expected. Modern company vehicle is provided.
- An individual with excellent communication and safety skills to exceed our clients expectations while working in an efficient manner.
- Valid class 5 license required
- Drivers abstract, criminal record check and ability to pass drug/alcohol testing to meet or exceed our clients needs is a requirement
- Red Seal Electrician Certification or a 3rd year or higher training is a requirement
- FSR A or B, an asset but not required Primary Responsibilities
- Service and installation of electrical equipment and associated wiring in Residential, Commercial and Industrial environments
- Communicate with clients to explain the necessary action or operation of the equipment
- Be presentable and punctual for all appointments and service calls
- Our services include standby generators, service upgrades/installations, surge protectors, electrical distribution panels, fire alarm, motors,



disconnects, lighting fixtures, agricultural equipment, new construction in residential, commercial, and industrial environments
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment or wiring to exceed our clients expectations
- Replace, repair, modify, and or install electrical components, accessories, and equipment to meet or exceed the manufacturer’s recommendations and/or local codes which ever standard is higher.
- Work in a safe and efficient manner while meeting or exceeding all employer, client and worksafe requirements
- Provide reports and documentation of all work in an electronic tablet or laptop
- Ability to lift 40 pounds
- Work from scaffolding or ladders
- Read and interpret drawings or schematics
- Report work performed in a explicit and efficient manner through an online portal Compensation Package
