We deliver exceptional service by utilizing skills, workmanship and safety to the highest standards. Our arborists work in many aspects of arboriculture including, tree removal, maintenance, and care. What you will do in the position
· Supervise crew members and manage daily site operations
· Assume a leadership role, as required, providing direction and support to other team members.
· Operate vehicles, machinery and power tools in accordance with safety policies and procedures
· Participate in crew meetings, safety and/or job specific training Change to lead meetings to differentiate status
· Identify and manage potential risks and hazards on the job site
· Assist with sales, quoting and customer enquiries. What you bring to this position
· Completion of a Degree, Diploma or Apprenticeship in related discipline from a post-secondary institution, or a minimum of 3 years of Horticulture, Forestry or Arborist experience.




· ISA Certification or an acceptable combination of training and experience
· Certification or demonstratable abilities in safe climbing, rigging and chainsaw operation
· Experience in safe operation of chippers, stump grinders and other relatable equipment
· Knowledge of trees shrubs and plants native to this area
· Knowledge of industry safety practices and ability to perform risk assessment on site
· Occupational First Aid Level 2. Higher considered an asset
· Unrestricted class 5 driver’s license
· Experience in a Supervisory or Team Leader position What makes you a good fit for Silverback
