Surrey & Pitt Meadows, British Columbia Client: Leading Commercial & Industrial Installation Projects – Lower Mainland, BC Pay Rate: $20–$24/hour (depending on experience and skills) Work Schedule: Monday–Saturday | 7:00 AM–5:00 PM Project Duration: 5 Months in Surrey | Until November-End in Pitt Meadows, with possible extension Description: We are looking for mechanically inclined candidates to join large-scale commercial and industrial installation projects in Surrey and Pitt Meadows, BC. This is a great opportunity for candidates with hands-on mechanical experience, forklift certification, scissor lift experience, or a background in automotive repair, industrial maintenance, or mechanical assembly. You don't need to be an expert mechanical installer to apply Role and

Responsibilities:

· Install commercial platforms and mezzanines.
· Assist with conveyor installation, connections, and tie-ins.
· Perform mechanical assembly and minor field modifications.
· Assist with conveyor belt tracking and stitching.
· Assemble and install conveyor side guides and safety netting after tracking is complete.
· Operate lifts and other equipment were certified and authorized.
· Follow site safety procedures and maintain a protected working environment. Mandatory Safety Certifications
- Candidates must have the applicable certifications required for the project:
- Working at Heights (WAH) / Fall Arrest
- Aerial Work Platform (AWP)
- WHMIS
- Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
- Forklift certification is preferred. Experience OR Training In
- Forklift operation — Class 1, 2, 3, 4,



or 5 certifications.
- Scissor lifts and other aerial work platforms.
- Mechanical assembly, conveyor systems, chains, or industrial maintenance.
- Automotive repair, automotive bodywork, or hands-on mechanical work.
- Hand tools, power tools, impact drills, and basic mechanical troubleshooting.
- Red Seal Millwright or mechanical apprenticeship programs, including candidates currently pursuing their apprenticeship. Forklift certification, scissor lift experience, and mechanical aptitude are highly desirable. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Candidates should be prepared to provide the following:
· High-visibility vest
· Cut-resistant gloves
· Fall arrest harness
· Hearing protection, when required
· Type 2 hard hat with chin strap
· CSA-approved steel-toe safety boots, 6–8 inches high
· CSA-approved safety glasses Tools Required Candidates should ideally have their own:
- Impact drill
- Basic installer hand tools Candidates without their own tools may still be considered, as tool provision can be discussed based on project requirements. Mandatory Candidates must also be willing to complete the client's background check. The information required for processing includes:
