Building Operator Overview We are seeking a skilled and proactive Building Operator to oversee the daily operations and our buildings. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical, electrical, and facilities management knowledge. This role is vital in ensuring the safety, efficiency, and reliability of our building systems, supporting customer service excellence. The Building Operator will be responsible for managing equipment, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating maintenance activities to uphold high standards of facility performance. Responsibilities
- Coordinate facilities maintenance activities to ensure smooth operations
- Monitor and operate building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment
- Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and schematics to troubleshoot and repair complex systems
- Manage work orders using Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) software for scheduling and tracking maintenance tasks
- Conduct regular inspections of building systems to identify potential issues before they escalate
- Lead safety initiatives and ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing occupant concerns promptly and effectively




- Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance activities, repairs, and system performance records
- Support project management efforts for facility upgrades or renovations Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or manufacturing environments
- Solid mechanical knowledge with experience in electrical systems, and troubleshooting schematics
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and CMMS software is highly desirable
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance best practices and safety standards
- Strong communication skills in English for clear documentation and team coordination
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and operational manuals
