Simcoe Diagnostic Imaging is seeking an experienced, certified xray technologist (MRT) for its location in Simcoe, Ontario. Seeking candidates for general x-ray and/or mammography. HIRING URGENTLY. SIGNING BONUS NEGOTIABLE. Who We Are? Simcoe Diagnostic Imaging is one of 11 diagnostic imaging facilities operated by Humber Valley Imaging. We are currently looking to welcome new qualified members to our team in Simcoe, ON. For 40 years, Humber Valley Imaging has been committed to providing high quality patient care in diagnostic imaging in southern Ontario. Required
Qualifications:
- Current registration with CAMRT, CMRITO
- Graduate from an approved Radiography Technologist Diploma program
- Preferred minimum 1 year work experience, but not mandatory
- For mammography, completion of Mammo I & II is an asset
- Availability for some Saturdays an asset
- Excellent written and verbal English skills (please indicate if you are fluent in any additional languages)
- Excellent patient care skills with a customer service approach
- Ability to work independently as well as a part of a team
- Demonstrate effective time management, decision making skills, and problem solving abilities
- Positive work attitude: reliable, punctual, and flexible About the Position:
- Prepare patients for imaging.
- Accurately collect/confirm clinical information specific to the investigation.
- Obtain high quality, diagnostic images as per our departmental protocols.
- Effectively communicate with radiologist, including expedited communication gross abnormal scans that may require immediate attention.
