Reference Number: 32560 Jardeg is recruiting a 2nd year Steamfitter/Pipefitter Apprentice to join the Cenovus Upgrader in Lloydminster, SK project team on a permanent basis. Rotation isMonday
- Thursday 10 hours/day. As a Steamfitter/Pipefitter apprentice your

key responsibilities
include but are not limited to:
- Assist Journeyperson Steamfitter/Pipefitters with the layout, assembly, fabrication, maintenance, and repair of piping systems used to carry water, steam, chemicals, fuel, and other process materials.
- Learn and apply piping installation techniques, including measuring, cutting, threading, grooving, and bending pipe, valves, and fittings under supervision.
- Support the installation, maintenance, and testing of piping systems while developing an understanding of their operation and function.
- Assist with pressure testing, leak detection, and troubleshooting activities to ensure piping systems meet quality and safety standards.
- Safely use and maintain hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment as directed.
- Read and interpret basic drawings, specifications, and work instructions while developing trade knowledge and technical skills.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment and comply with all company, client, and site-specific safety requirements. Minimum

Qualifications:





- Registered and active 2nd year Pipefitter/Steamfitter certification.
- Shop or Fabrication experience is a must have.
- Basic knowledge of pipefitting materials, tools, and installation techniques gained through training, education, or previous work experience.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to company, client, and site-specific safety requirements
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment and independently as required.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and project stakeholders. Minimum
