NOW HIRING Early Childhood Educator/Early Childhood Assistant *Little Footsteps Child Care Centre* is a licensed facility offering Preschool, Daycare, Infant/Toddler and Before/After School Care located in central Chilliwack, BC. We are looking for an Early Childhood Educator or Early Childhood Assistant to join our amazing Infant/Toddler Room team. Job Details: Full-time position
- Monday to Friday, shifts varying between 7:00am – 6:00pm.
- Starting immediately.
- Salary will be dependent on experience and education. ECE A wage starts at $21.50/hr. ECE wage starts at $22.50/hr plus the ECEWE of $6.00/hr Qualifications/Requirements:
- Be enthusiastic about teaching and learning.
- Exhibit a willingness to try and learn new things.
- Possess a valid ECE Certificate or ECE A Certificate
- Provide an immunization record.
- Provide a clear criminal record check.
- Provide three professional references.

Key Responsibilities





- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and experiences that will foster the development of the whole child.
- Provide quality care by guiding, encouraging and supervising children both indoors and outdoors, ensuring children’s safety and well-being at all times.
- Organize space, equipment and materials as needed, for activities, and in compliance with Licensing standards.
- Establish and maintain positive daily communication and interaction with families.
- Ensure that the program meets, implements and maintains both the health and safety requirements of the Community Care Facilities Licensing Act. Those eligible for the positions will be contacted for an interview time.
