Job Summary The Commercial Driver transports freight safely and reliably, supporting timely deliveries and smooth coordination with colleagues and customers. The role combines commercial driving with careful vehicle checks, secure load handling, and clear communication throughout each delivery. Duties
- Operate commercial vehicles to transport freight along assigned routes, following applicable road and site procedures.
- Inspect vehicles and loads before and after trips, report concerns promptly, and keep delivery and vehicle records accurate.
- Load, unload, and position freight safely; use a forklift or other equipment when appropriate and within your capabilities.
- Coordinate delivery updates with colleagues and customers, and assist with basic vehicle care or automotive repair tasks as needed.
