Overview The Tile Setter, flooring installer/assistant supports flooring and tile projects through careful preparation, installation, and finishing. This hands-on role involves using tools, following project plans, and coordinating work with colleagues to help deliver clean, durable results for customers. Must have transportation to and from job site, or ability to get to a location to drive with another employee Responsibilities
- Prepare work areas and materials, measure surfaces, and assist with flooring installation and tile laying.
- Use hand tools to cut, position, and secure materials, following blueprints and project instructions.
- Support carpentry, caulking, and finishing tasks while keeping the work area organized and safe.
- Coordinate with the installation team, communicate progress, and help resolve routine job-site issues. Skills Required:



Practical ability to use hand tools, assist with flooring installation and tile laying, follow blueprints, and complete careful finishing work such as grouting. Attention to detail and clear communication support safe, accurate work and effective coordination with colleagues. Preferred: Construction experience, carpentry skills, or handyman experience are helpful strengths for adapting to varied tasks and supporting experienced installers.
