Operations Manager – Maintenance & Repair Services

About the Company
We are a growing maintenance and repair company dedicated to providing high-quality service to residential, commercial, and industrial clients. We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager with a solid background in maintenance, repairs, construction, or related trades to oversee daily operations, manage field teams, prepare job estimates, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and profitably. Position Summary The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing all operational activities, including scheduling, customer relations, estimating and quoting jobs, resource management, and supervising technicians and contractors. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires both operational expertise and practical experience in maintenance and repair work.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate daily maintenance and repair operations.
- Conduct site visits to assess project requirements.
- Prepare accurate estimates, quotations, and job costing for customers.
- Review project specifications and determine labor, material, and equipment requirements.
- Manage scheduling of technicians, subcontractors, and equipment.
- Monitor project progress to ensure quality, timelines, and budgets are met.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and contractors.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards.
- Track operational costs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability.
- Resolve customer concerns and operational issues in a timely manner.
- Recruit, train, and mentor field and office staff as required.
- Prepare operational reports and provide recommendations to management. Qualifications & ExperienceRequired
- Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance, repair, construction, facilities management,



or a related field.
- Previous management or supervisory experience.
- Proven experience preparing estimates, quotations, and job costing.
- Strong understanding of building maintenance, repairs, and general construction practices.
- Ability to read construction drawings, work orders, and project specifications.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Preferred
- Experience managing multiple service crews or trades.
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, or general contracting.
- Experience using estimating, scheduling, and project management software.
- Occupational Health & Safety training/certification.

Pay: $75,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
