The Subject Matter Expert (SME) will work in collaboration with the C4i Research Coordinator, student research assistants, and external partners on the advancing Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) Drone Operations for Community Safety and Emergency Response. This project will generate evidence and practical guidance to support responsible adoption of BVLOS drone technology by Canadian emergency-service organizations, with special focus on rural and resource-constrained Canadian communities. #### A little

- Provide expertise in policing, public safety, and security governance.
- Analyze policy frameworks, evaluate practices, and develop evidence-informed recommendations.
- Integrate community perspectives, gender, equity, diversity, and inclusion into research and policy guidance.
- Collaborate with project partners and mentor student researchers.
- Work collaboratively with the research team to develop reports, briefing notes, presentations, and policy recommendations. #### Details: As a successful applicant you'll have:
