Overview As a Window Blinds Installer, you’ll measure, fit, and install window blinds in a range of settings, following product specifications and site requirements. You’ll use hand tools carefully, prepare work areas, and leave each installation neat and ready for use. Your impact: accurate, secure installations help customers enjoy functional window coverings and a tidy finished space. Responsibilities
- Measure windows, confirm dimensions, and review plans, schematics, or blueprints to determine placement and installation steps.
- Install and adjust blinds, brackets, and related hardware using appropriate hand tools; check alignment and operation.
- Prepare surfaces as needed, including minor drywall repair, caulking, or touch-up construction painting, and clean the work area.
- Coordinate with customers and colleagues,



communicate progress, and identify site conditions that may affect the work. Requirements Required: Practical hand-tool skills, careful measuring, and the ability to follow installation instructions and work safely and neatly. Preferred: Construction experience, carpentry, and blueprint or schematic reading; familiarity with drywall, caulking, restoration, construction painting, plumbing, welding, flooring installation, or tile laying is also practical.
