Overview The Emergency Veterinary Assistant/CSR supports patients, clients, and the veterinary team in a fast-paced emergency care setting. This role combines hands-on assistance with client service, helping keep care organized and communication clear during urgent visits. We are a 24 hour hospital, all shift availability including weekends is required. Duties
- Welcome clients, gather and relay relevant information, and support clear communication with the veterinary team.
- Assist with patient handling and routine care tasks as directed by veterinary staff.
- Help maintain clean, orderly treatment areas and prepare supplies for patient care.
- Support laboratory workflows by handling samples and assisting with related tasks as directed.
- Ability to confidently triage incoming patients by phone and upon arrival
- Your impact: Timely support helps the team focus on patient care and gives clients a more organized experience. Requirements Required: Clear communication, patience, accurate recordkeeping, friendly/personable demeanor,



and basic computer skills support client interactions and dependable coordination with the veterinary team. The ability to follow directions, handle information carefully and confidentially, and stay organized helps maintain smooth workflows in an emergency setting. Preferred: Veterinary Assistant experience is an advantage, along with customer service or veterinary support experience and comfort working collaboratively in a busy care environment. Pay: $19.00-$22.50 per hour Expected hours: 34.0 – 44.0 per week
