Victoria's Blossom Imports is a wholesale flower distributor based in South Surrey, delivering fresh flowers to florists across Western Canada. We're hiring a reliable Delivery Driver & Warehouse Associate who can start this week. Weekly schedule (same every week, about 34 hours)
- Friday 4:00 pm – 10:00 pm: warehouse work + local Lower Mainland deliveries
- Saturday 8:00 am – 4:00 pm: warehouse work + local Lower Mainland deliveries
- Sunday 9:00 am – 3:00 pm: driving our Okanagan route, with an overnight stay in the Okanagan (hotel paid by the company)
- Monday 5:00 am – 7:00 pm: driving our Okanagan route You must be available all four days, every week.
What you'll do
- Drive a company refrigerated van to deliver fresh flowers to florists, on time and in perfect condition
- Load and unload boxes and buckets of flowers, keeping product cold and handled with care
- Receive, sort and pack orders, and keep the warehouse and cooler clean and organized
- Do routine vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues
- Be friendly and skilled with our florist customers What we're looking for
- Valid BC driver's licence (Class 5 or higher) and a clean driving record (driver's abstract required)
- Delivery driving or warehouse experience preferred
- Comfortable with long highway drives, including winter conditions, and one overnight trip per week
- Able to do heavy lifting and work in cold, refrigerated conditions
- Reliable, punctual and a good communicator
- Forklift experience is a plus
