Overview The Youth Sports & Activity Assistant helps children take part in welcoming, engaging sports and activities. This hands-on role supports learning, movement, and positive group participation through clear instruction and attentive guidance. Duties
- Assist with sports, games, and age-appropriate activities, explaining rules and demonstrating skills in an encouraging way.
- Support children as they build confidence, practice new abilities, and participate cooperatively with peers.
- Provide tutoring or teaching support during activities, adapting explanations to children’s needs and helping them stay engaged.
- Coordinate with colleagues to prepare activities, share observations, and maintain an organized, supportive setting. Your impact:



Your guidance helps children participate confidently and gives colleagues useful insight into their progress and engagement. Experience Required: Practical communication, patience, and the ability to guide children through activities, explain instructions clearly, and support positive participation are essential to the role. Preferred: Experience working with children, along with tutoring, teaching, or early childhood education experience, can strengthen your ability to encourage learning and adapt activities to different needs.
