Job Summary White Bear Industries is looking to fill a full-time Heavy Equipment Operator position in Fort Nelson, BC. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will safely operate a variety of heavy equipment, which may include excavators, loaders, dozers, graders and rock trucks. If you have a positive work ethic, promote safety and enjoy working in a team environment, we'd like to hear from you. Duties & Responsibilities . Safely operate heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, dozers, graders and rock trucks
- Conduct pre-operational inspections and complete daily equipment checklists
- Perform basic equipment maintenance, including greasing and fluid checks
- Report mechanical issues, damage or safety concerns promptly to the supervisor or mechanic
- Perform excavation, grading, loading, hauling and material handling as directed
- Read and follow site plans
- Follow all company safety policies and site-specific procedures
- Complete timesheets, logs and other required paperwork accurately
- Other duties as required Requirements
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment
- Valid BC driver's licence
- Knowledge of secure work procedures
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions

- Experience on multiple types of equipment
- Class 1 licence
- Standard First Aid
