Digby, Nova Scotia Earn $50,000+ Annually | Hourly Pay + Commission | No Evening Shifts Nothin' Fancy Furniture Warehouse is seeking a motivated, dependable, and hardworking individual to manage and operate our Digby retail location. This position is a one-person operation. We are looking for someone who is capable of independently handling all aspects of the business, from customer service and sales to daily store operations and physical tasks. The successful candidate must be a self-starter who takes ownership of their responsibilities, enjoys working with customers, and can confidently operate a retail location with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
- Independently manage the day-to-day operations of the Digby store.
- Provide excellent customer service and assist customers with furniture, mattress, and appliance purchases.
- Develop product knowledge and confidently explain features and benefits of furniture and appliances.
- Handle all aspects of the sales process, including transactions, orders, and customer inquiries.
- Operate computer systems and maintain accurate sales records.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable showroom.
- Receive, move, and handle furniture and appliances as required.
- Perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving merchandise,



with part time assistance available when required.
- Take responsibility for store performance, customer satisfaction, and overall operations. Qualifications
- Previous retail sales or management experience preferred.
- Experience selling furniture, mattresses, or appliances would be an asset.
- Strong sales ability and excellent customer service skills.
- Computer proficiency and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
- Must be physically capable of lifting and moving furniture and appliances, with appropriate assistance when required.
- Dependable, trustworthy, and self-motivated.
- Willingness to take on multiple responsibilities as part of a one-person operating team.
- Must be bondable and willing to successfully complete a criminal record check as a condition of employment. The Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who understands that this is not a traditional management position with a large staff. You will be the manager, salesperson, and day-to-day operator of the location. You must be comfortable working independently, making decisions, serving customers, and taking care of the physical and administrative responsibilities involved in operating a furniture and appliance retail store.
