Job Description
- MULTI FAMILY RESIDENTIAL JOURNEYPERSON PLUMBER Own Tools/Equipment Tools, Safety equipment/gear, Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat Security and Safety Driving record check (abstract) Work Location Information Various locations Specific Skills Shift Length: 4-6 Weeks on, 10-14 days off EXPERIENCED IN APARTMENTS, MULTI FAMILY UNIT HOUSING, OR RESIDENTIAL PLUMBING INCLUDING HEATING AND FUEL OIL. Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system, water supply network and waste and drainage systems, Install, repair and maintain domestic, commercial or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems, Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes and fixtures in walls and floors, Cut opening in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings, Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering, brazing and welding equipment,



Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges, Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing, Measure, cut, thread and bend pipes to required shape and size Work Setting Commercial Credentials (certificates, licenses, memberships, courses, etc.) 4th Period Apprentice, Journeyperson Education Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience Experience Experience an asset Languages English JOB DETAILS Advertised until To be determined Days to be posted 30 Vacancies 6 Job start date ASAP Hours 70.00 Hours / Week Marketed to Apprentices Terms of employment Permanent, Full time , Overtime, Day, Weekend Employer Work in Nunavut on a fly in fly out shift
