Telecom Construction Project Coordinator Reporting to: PMO

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate fibre construction projects, acting as the central liaison between customers, municipalities, utility partners, and internal teams.
- Support the Construction Manager and site Foremen with project planning, documentation, and execution oversight.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation including schedules, progress reports, permit tracking, and compliance records.
- Assist in planning and coordinating daily and weekly activities for multiple construction crews, ensuring alignment with project timelines and deliverables.
- Identify and resolve issues that may impact project delivery, proactively communicating risks and changes.
- Provide occasional support in managing yard logistics related to project execution (e.g., confirming material deliveries or coordinating equipment needs). Qualifications &





Skills:

- At least 2 years of dedicated project coordination experience in telecom construction, with a focus on fibre optic infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of Outside Plant (OSP) construction for underground fibre builds (Knowledge or aerial fibre is an asset)
- Knowledge of Ontario Dig Authority (ON1Call) and ability to submit and manage locates is an asset
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects or crews simultaneously in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Proficient in project tracking tools, documentation, and reporting.
- Self-motivated, organized, and capable of adapting to changing project needs and timelines. CIK complies with the Ontario AODA.
