MacKay Family Dental is a well established, family owned dental practice in Port Elgin, ON, with over 50 years of experience providing quality dental care to our community. We take pride in creating a welcoming and patient focused environment. We are looking for a passionate and motivated Level II Certified Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care, assisting with a variety of dental procedures and contributing to the smooth day-to-day operations of our practice. Responsibilities
- Assist the Dentist with all surgeries, examinations and procedures
- Prepare operatory, instruments, equipment and materials for dental procedures
- Sterilize instruments in accordance to Infection Prevention and Control standards




- Take and develop digital radiographs
- Accurately maintain patient records with Tracker software
- Ensure patient comfort and provide chair side support and assistance Qualifications
- Level II Certification in Dental Assisting from an accredited program
- Positive attitude and ability to communicate clearly
- Ability to multi task in a fast paced environment Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 per week
