Lakefield College School seeks a Biology Teacher for one or two SBI4U sections. You will create engaging learning activities aligned with the Ontario Ministry of Education curriculum. The work emphasizes relationships, community priorities, outdoor experiences, and regular communication about student progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach one or two sections of SBI4U
- Prepare student-centered activities and curriculum-based assessments
- Integrate digital skills and technology into learning
- Communicate student progress with families and colleagues
- Support an authentic daily outdoor learning environment
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Education, OCT, and Biology undergraduate degree preferred
- Two years of biology or science teaching experience an asset
- Grade 12 Biology teaching experience an asset
- Solid interpersonal, collaboration, communication, and planning skills
- Passion for working with teenagers and integrating technology
