As a Laboratory Technologist I with Alberta Precision Laboratories, you will process diagnostic samples supporting diagnosis, treatment, and research. The work includes routine and specialized procedures, results analysis, and reporting. Strong communication and multitasking skills support daily laboratory operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process diagnostic specimens within the microbiology laboratory
- Perform routine testing procedures on diagnostic samples
- Complete specialized procedures supporting diagnosis, treatment, and research
- Analyze test results accurately and systematically
- Report diagnostic sample results to support clinical care
Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology program
- Active or eligible CMLTA registration and practice permit
- Strong communication skills for laboratory work
- Ability to multitask across daily laboratory activities
- Previous microbiology experience preferred
