Experience Associate

HR Sumner Full Time - Employee Clerical Sumner, Sumner, WA, US

2 days ago Requisition ID: 1466

RTCA is a precision aerospace and defense manufacturing group built on decades of hands‑on machining expertise, with roots spanning more than 50 years. We support mission‑critical commercial and government aerospace programs across North America through four U.S. Centers of Excellence operating as an integrated platform with 200+ CNC machines and a team of 500+ professionals.

Unlike large organizations where roles can be narrow, RTCA offers hands‑on ownership and real visibility – you understand how your work supports the team, the operation, and the end customer. Our flat structure allows employees to take initiative, grow their skills, and have their contributions recognized, while still providing the stability, advanced technology, and meaningful work of an established aerospace manufacturer.

At RTCA, we believe in teamwork, excellence, and delivering with pride. One Team One Mission

How You’ll Make an Impact:

The Experience Associate roles primarily supports a positive, engaging, and consistent experience for employees across all RTCA divisions while helping strengthen our employer brand and public presence. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, this role focuses on employee engagement, planning and coordinating employee events across the enterprise, managing social media, developing employer branding content, and creating internal employee communications and announcements, while providing support functions to HR and/or Accounting as needed.

This position serves all RTCA divisions: the Experience Associate plans each event, executes events in person at their local division(s), and rolls out explicit plans to local HR representatives so events are carried out consistently at every other division. Working with HR, Operations, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, and site leaders, the Experience Associate gathers the stories, photos, and updates that showcase our people and craftsmanship, keeps programs running on schedule, and makes sure every communication is approved and protects customer, proprietary, and export‑controlled information. This role operates independently, with minimal supervision, in a fast‑paced and often ambiguous environment. The Experience Associate is a self‑starter who uses sound judgment and critical thinking to make decisions, confidently reaches out to leadership for information or direction when unsure, follows up as needed, and works efficiently, using AI tools where appropriate, to deliver high‑quality results. It is an ideal role for an organized, creative person who wants to grow a career in HR, communications, or employer branding.

What you’ll be doing as an Experience Associate:

- Working a full‑time, onsite position at our Sumner, WA location.
