The Licensed Industrial Maintenance Millwright 433A works within the maintenance team at Smurfit Westrock Guelph. This manufacturing position requires technical knowledge, equipment troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and protected handling practices. You will support plant, facility, building, boiler, heating, steam, and energy systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot plant equipment and determine maintenance requirements
- Respond to breakdowns and establish temporary or permanent solutions
- Maintain preventative maintenance programs,
checks, and lubrication
- Maintain boiler, heating, steam, and energy systems
- Assist with electrical repairs, equipment installation, and equipment design
Requirements:
- Licensed Industrial Millwright 433A qualification
- High school diploma
- Three to five years manufacturing experience
- Technical knowledge and physical fitness
- Availability for steady nights and required overtime
