Plan specialized library services with Toronto Public Library using information expertise, program evaluation, and community outreach across Toronto locations. Evenings and Saturdays are required.

This Services Specialist assignment lasts approximately six months and coordinates targeted service delivery. The work combines direct and indirect customer service with special service planning and expertise. You will develop service plans, standards, training programs, information tools, and evaluation approaches while supporting branches and departments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide expert information for specialized service planning
- Develop service plans, standards, and performance measures

Requirements:

- Graduate degree in Library or Information Science, or equivalent education
- Three skilled years of public library experience
- Two years of experience in the specialty area
- Ability to lead and supervise staff
- Excellent planning, communication, and interpersonal skills
