As Laboratory Technician I, you will set up equipment, conduct product tests, and disassemble test samples under guidance. The work includes electrical circuits, Canadian electrical codes, measurement instruments, and engineering drawings. You will support certification testing while recording accurate results and maintaining safe laboratory practices.

Key Responsibilities:

- Set up and operate laboratory test equipment
- Conduct routine tests independently under issued work orders
- Assemble and disassemble test samples for testing
- Record technical data and draft reports
- Note product discrepancies and refer them appropriately

Requirements:

- Three-year Electrical Engineering Technician qualification or equivalent
- Electrical degree in engineering technology
- ASTT membership or equivalent
- Three to four years of related experience
- Knowledge of electrical circuits and Canadian electrical codes

Use electrical testing, measurement instruments, and technical reporting skills to support CSA Group certification work safely and accurately.
