Registered Nurses with perinatal expertise can support Women & Children’s Health in Chatham-Kent, Ontario through a temporary regular part time job-share.

This existing Registered Nurse position is open to employees of the ONA bargaining unit. The assignment runs from January 2027 to August 2027 and may be extended or end earlier. Candidates need current College of Nurses of Ontario competence, BCLS, and recent perinatal experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide nursing care for perinatal patients
- Support obstetrical triage and labour and delivery care
- Provide intrapartum and postpartum nursing care
- Care for paediatric and Level II Nursery patients
- Apply added nursing skills for perinatal and paediatric patients

Requirements:

- Current Registered Nurse certificate of competence in Ontario
- Three to five years’ recent perinatal care experience
- Current BCLS and IV certification
- Recent Fetal Health Surveillance and Neonatal Resuscitation certification
- Breastfeeding Education Course completion
