The Director of Building Services provides leadership across maintenance, building systems, housekeeping, and laundry. This position maintains safe, clean, well-presented environments while supporting resident well-being and team member experience. The role manages vendors, budgets, preventative maintenance, regulatory requirements, and operational priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead maintenance, housekeeping, and laundry operations
- Oversee HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and life safety systems
- Maintain preventative maintenance and asset management programs
- Manage departmental budgets, inventory, schedules, and staffing
- Coordinate audits,



emergency preparedness, and infection control documentation

Requirements:

- Building Operators Certificate or recognized Ontario skilled trade
- Minimum five years’ facilities, hospitality, or senior living management
- Knowledge of Ontario Fire Code, Building Code, TSSA, and public health requirements
- Knowledge of modern building systems and life safety infrastructure
- Robust leadership, organizational, computer, and problem-solving skills
