As a Senior Design Engineer, you will guide early-stage engineering and multidisciplinary concept development. You will lead a draftsperson and mechanical designer while developing practical, cost-effective solutions. The work supports operational needs, Graymont standards, project objectives, and applicable codes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and develop the design team
- Validate design criteria against project objectives and production targets
- Develop process flow diagrams, layouts, and equipment lists
- Prepare Class 5 cost estimates for design concepts
- Review vendor drawings and technical submittals
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
- At least seven years of design engineering experience
- Qualified Engineer licence or equivalent
