Design financial APIs at Jeeves using Go, Python, or Node.js/TypeScript while working remotely or hybrid, depending on location and department.
As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will build production systems for payments, cards, spend management, and compliance. You will support customers across more than 20 countries. The work includes RESTful and GraphQL APIs, microservices, databases, and event-driven architectures. Jeeves values reliable systems and thoughtful engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design scalable backend services processing financial transactions
- Build RESTful and GraphQL APIs for Jeeves products
- Optimize PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis data schemas
- Own features through deployment, monitoring, and iteration
- Participate in design and code reviews
Requirements:
- Five or more years of backend engineering experience
- Solid proficiency in Go, Python, or Node.js/TypeScript
- Experience designing APIs, microservices, and event-driven systems
- Understanding of relational databases and query optimization
- Professional fluency in English
