- Coordinate the annual external audit and act as the primary contact for auditors.
- Manage tax compliance and filings, including HST, payroll remittances, and corporate tax, in coordination with external advisors.
- Track and report on capital projects, fixed assets, and any government funding, grant, or contribution agreements, ensuring compliance with reporting conditions.
- Support financial analysis for capital investments, new business opportunities, lease negotiations, and strategic initiatives.
- Monitor compliance with lender requirements, including debt covenants and reporting obligations.
- Identify and implement process improvements and system enhancements to increase efficiency and reporting accuracy.
- Maintain confidentiality of all SIA financial, commercial, and operational information.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You Bring
- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation required.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory financial role, preferred.
