Valard Construction seeks Journeyperson Powerline Technicians for unionized worksites in the Aylmer area. Reporting to the Construction Foreman, you will build and maintain distribution systems using energized and de-energized procedures. The work includes system switching, underground installations, and crew support.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install overhead and underground electrical power distribution systems
- Maintain poles, towers, guy wires, and associated equipment
- Perform conductor stringing, sagging, clipping, and dead-ending




- Execute advanced switching tasks involving reclosers and loop feeds
- Model secure practices and support crew adherence to HSE policies

Requirements:

- Journeyperson Powerline Technician 434A or Red Seal
- Utility construction and direct power distribution experience
- Experience with energized work, switching, and underground installations
- Class 4 Rubber Glove experience
- Valid driver’s licence and acceptable driver’s abstract
