Apply electrical design skills as an Electrical EIT with The HIDI Group, supporting lighting, fire alarm, power, and electrical systems. Toronto, Ottawa, and Calgary offices support this consultancy’s national team.

The Electrical EIT assists Engineers across building services projects. You will create AutoCAD working drawings, develop schematics, and coordinate electrical work with Mechanical, Architectural, and Structural disciplines. The position also includes design meetings, site reviews, and quality control.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist Engineers designing lighting, fire alarm, and power systems
- Create working drawings using AutoCAD and company CAD Standards
- Develop electrical system schematics and riser diagrams




- Coordinate designs with other building disciplines and authorities
- Perform lighting calculations, site audits, and drawing reviews

Requirements:

- Engineering Degree
- Two to five years in Engineering Consulting industry
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and Engineering programs
- Knowledge of OBC, OESC, ASHRAE, IES, and relevant standards
- Robust analytical, communication, organizational, and time management skills
