Regional Operating Room Education Facilitators coordinate perioperative learning across Southern Health-Santé Sud, applying nursing expertise and adult education principles. Travel between facilities may be required.

Reporting to the Director Health Services, this facilitator supports the Regional Staff Development, Infection Prevention & Control team. The position plans, develops, coordinates, implements, and evaluates education for Operating Room, Same Day Surgery, and Post Anesthetic Care Unit services. Independent judgment, leadership, and cooperative program development are central to the work.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan regional Operating Room education programs
- Coordinate Same Day Surgery learning initiatives
- Implement Post Anesthetic Care Unit education




- Evaluate regional education program effectiveness
- Determine priorities and methods independently

Requirements:

- Five years of relevant full-time nursing experience
- Two years of Adult Education experience
- One year of perioperative nursing experience or training
- Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing or equivalent
- Current College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba registration
