Design enterprise APIs and data integrations at UBC, applying system analysis and hands-on development within a multidisciplinary technical team.

As a Programmer Systems Analyst II, you will build solutions for complex, campus-wide systems within Enterprise Automation and Solution Delivery. You will work with Senior Programmer Analysts, analysts, technical leads, managers, developers, and ERP teams. The work supports UBC’s enterprise-scale data integration solution and API-centric integrations. This hands-on delivery role covers planning, implementation, and operation of integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Contribute to UBC API strategy and promote organizational adoption
- Investigate, analyze, estimate, design, develop, test, and document APIs
- Build APIs, system adapters, message flows,



and compositions
- Consult integration partners on complex system design solutions
- Develop proofs-of-concept and technical prototypes

Requirements:

- Experience developing maintainable data integration applications
- Ability to create functional and technical specifications
- Knowledge of established UBC IT technical architecture
- Ability to advise stakeholders on integration techniques
- Ability to work collaboratively with technical and business teams
