Lead EHS strategy at DECIEM’s Etobicoke facility through regulatory expertise, safety leadership, and standardized programs across Ontario and Current Jersey.

The Senior Manager, Environment, Health and Safety leads EHS programs across manufacturing, distribution, and Fraser Head Office operations. Based on-site five days weekly, this leader establishes priorities, metrics, goals, and processes while partnering with Commercial EHS. The position manages the EHS Specialist and supports operational excellence through audits, training, investigations, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Establish EHS strategy, metrics, goals, and standards across facilities
- Lead program development and standardized process integration across assigned sites
- Represent DECIEM with federal, provincial, and local regulators




- Oversee audits, investigations, risk assessments, and corrective actions
- Manage, coach, and develop the EHS Specialist

Requirements:

- Recognized EHS designation or Occupational Health and Safety certificate preferred
- 5–7+ years progressive hands-on EHS leadership experience
- 2–3 years direct people management experience
- Expertise in Ontario OHSA, JHSC, WSIB, and environmental compliance
- Working knowledge of United States OSHA regulations
