Support people relations and human resources programs at Canem Systems, primarily from Mississauga with travel to remote construction sites. Guide leaders through employee matters and workplace policies.

Reporting to the Manager, People & Culture (Industrial Construction), this Generalist provides skilled human resource guidance and support. You will facilitate people solutions, advise operational leadership, and collaborate on staffing, employee relations, and People & Culture initiatives. The work supports business objectives across construction operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Consult leaders on compensation recommendations, evaluations, adjustments, and promotions
- Advise operations leaders on staffing and employee relations
- Coach leaders on human resources processes and programs




- Interpret policies and support respectful workplace concerns
- Participate in resolving employee relations issues

Requirements:

- Knowledge of provincial employment legislation and regulations
- Understanding of employment policies and workplace practices
- Ability to provide professional human resource guidance
- Ability to build employee trust and open communication
- Willingness to travel to remote construction sites
